With a zest for variety, Michaela has held positions where she has mastered new skills and developed a keen sense of how to make a statement for the brands and personalities she works with. Moving to SoCal from her native New Hampshire in 2011, she began her West Coast career as a graphic designer at Surfing Magazine. Passionate about defining the spirit and identity of brands, she developed campaigns for Arnette and Nationwide at Wasserman Media Group and implemented retail brand marketing and management at flagship stores across the US for O’Neill. This continued in her work for Stance where she managed the entire creative process from idea conception to international asset distribution. There, she also had the opportunity to create content in NYC with notable Punks & Poets from the Stance ambassador roster, and at the Wheels and Waves event in Biarritz, France, all for use in world-wide marketing campaign assets. In her “spare” time, she co-founded the Ladies’ Shred Society, a community of women with a passion for board sports, and produced their annual event. Michaela's evolution to leading 100+ commercial productions was organic with her strong background in brand management and passion for content creation. She has been producing shoots all over the world for the last four years working with iconic brands such as Toyota and Fender. When she's not on set, you can find her in the water at her favorite surf break, San Onofre or somewhere in the mountains in a tent by a fire.
